Embedding enhanced care navigation (ECN) by frontline non-clinical staff

Members of our non-clinical teams are the first point of contact for patients and as such are integral in improving access to services. ECN involves triaging and offering alternative care paths to patients who expect to see a GP or nurse. ECN will improve health outcomes for the practice population by releasing valuable clinical time and resources and by proactively targeting, encouraging and navigating appropriate patients towards wellbeing and social services.
