Haxby Group is a leading community-based healthcare organisation, caring for around 100,000 patients across York, Hull and Scarborough. The Group is proud of its efforts in becoming a menopause friendly accredited practice. This session explores the need to create menopause awareness to improve knowledge and understanding, whilst also supporting staff who may be affected by the menopause. The session encompasses the latest evidence underpinning policy, whilst barriers and enabling factors for change will be considered and explored in more detail, providing guidance for other organisations who may be interested in becoming accredited.
