The Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) provides funding for 26,000 additional roles in primary care, with the goal of helping to facilitate and increase the functionality of multi-disciplinary teams. ARRS has successfully helped some practices to plug workforce gaps and increase teamworking, but in a system where significant workforce gaps remain, how can GPs best use ARRS roles to manage workforce gaps, and to their highest potential?
