General practice care is no longer provided entirely by GPs, practice nurses and practice level administrative and managerial staff. The advent of the PCN DES, workforce pressures, and innovation at a practice level has seen the entry of many different non-medical clinicians and support staff into a GP environment. It is crucial for the effective provision of care for our patients that these different professionals are able to work well in a GP led team across a PCN footprint. This session will look at different models of multidisciplinary working, and how to make best use of the various ARRS roles in general practice.
