EDGEBITS LAUNCHES NEW PANIC BUTTON FOR GP PRACTICES

The EDGEBITS team are excited to announce the launch of our new PANIC BUTTON solution for GP Practices. EDGEALERT is being officially launched at the NEC Best Practice Birmingham event 11 October.

EDGEALERT is a PANIC BUTTON solution developed for GP practices to reduce the risk to personal safety as practices move to mobile working and it supports the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy. It is also designed as a replacement for decommissioned and unsupported legacy panic button solutions.

EDGEBITS has a reputation for developing specific software solutions to meet the needs of Primary Care. Like all products in the family, EDGEALERT provides a safe and secure user experience.

Ryan Edridge, IT Director said “It works over any WiFi and on PCs and laptops in the practice and offsite. It’s the ideal solution for a collective call for help in a primary care setting and caters for staff simultaneously raising multiple alerts.”

The EDGEBITS Clinical Director said “It allows the practice to see where everyone is logged on in Realtime. That feature is especially important when you have staff that are mobile and working across various sites. It also captures information on who, when and where an incident was raised and responded to, which assists the CQC reporting evidence requirement for serious incidents.”

On trialling the new software at his practice, Dr Edward Williams, GP Partner at Ascot Medical Centre, Berkshire said “EDGEALERT is a really good option for replacing the current panic button, which is being phased out. It’s easy to install, works on our laptops and PCs and the reporting function is excellent.”

Come and chat to us on Stand D143 at the NEC Best Practice Birmingham event 11 October.

We will be demonstrating EDGEALERT our GP PANIC BUTTON solution. You can also see our mobile print management software EDGEPRINT.
