SMARTconsult and SMARTnavigation are innovative GP-led digital solutions tackling these challenges, improving patient access, and ensuring clinicians focus on those who need them most—all while delivering significant cost savings to the NHS.
Deployed across 17 practices, SMARTconsult and SMARTnavigation have saved over £3.3M and freed thousands of GP hours annually. By redirecting patients to pharmacists, nurses, and other providers, the tools resolve most cases without GP intervention. If scaled nationally, they could release £1.68B in GP time for urgent patient care.
