Eosinophilic Oesophagitis (EoE) update for Primary Care

Dysphagia is a common and worrying symptom for patients and GPs alike. My presentation will cover the physiology of swallowing, where it can go wrong and who and when to refer for further investigation and management. It will focus on eosinophilic oesophagitis, a condition that is under diagnosed but is a common cause of dysphagia and bolus obstruction. However, due to new medicines is easily managed and treated.
