Maximising the benefit of First Contact Physiotherapy
Phin Robinson has delivered and managed First Contact Physiotherapy services into primary care for over five years. Today's talk will be based around that experience and how to maximise the benefit which can be seen from FCP roles.
The talk will highlight how to get the best of the FCP service in terms of timings, clinical effectiveness, clinical governance. Recognising the key goal of competently managing musculoskeletal patients in the primary care setting and reducing workload pressure on GP and nursing colleagues. Informed by the Health Education England's (HEE) governance around the ARRS roles the session should spark questions around how best to structure an FCP service whilst recognising the challenges of delivery, recruitment and governance as these new roles settle into primary care.
