The current COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated a shift towards the delivery of remote consultations. However, research highlights that lack of physical examination data from phone and video only consultations can lead to inaccurate diagnoses and inappropriate prescribing. This session highlights how clinicians have been implementing remote examination in order to effectively manage patient populations and improve quality of care. The speakers will provide experience and practical tips on how this has been implemented in a care home setting and within a respiratory hub.
