The Accelerating Genomic Medicine in the NHS strategy outlines how the NHS is embedding genomics into mainstream care for patients. This will include enabling access to genomics informed services in primary care, including those regarding the optimisation of medicines. This talk will give an overview of the strategy and NHS Genomics Medicine Service infrastructure and reflect on current and future developments in this area.
