Building a resilient multi-professional primary care workforce through quality supervison - The South Yorkshire approach
With the rise in new roles joining Primary Care since the introduction of the ARR Scheme, the importance of supervision is being seen as important to recruitment and retention in our workforce. The emphasis for the programme was on the retention of staff by supporting their well-being and building their personal and group resilience by utilising a restorative model of supervision. The importance of this approach to the promotion of good staff mental health and resilience will be highlighted, the enablers and barriers to implementing the model across the organisation and the successes to date will be discussed within the report.
