Increasing access to supported pain self-management: Putting 10 footsteps into practice

Chronic pain management needs a person-centred approach and a range of skills to support its everyday self-management. Practitioner confidence to support self-care is embedded in the Ten Footsteps approach to enable people with pain to improve their health and well-being. The session will explore the role of the Ten Footsteps resources for practitioner, person with pain and care within the www.livewellwithpain.co.uk and the range of possible ways to implement in everyday frontline practice. It shares helpful ways to engage with patients/clients and how to assess useful and meaningful outcomes.
