PCNs and the future - 3 reasons to be cheerful
PCNs have been seen as the panacea to save general practice, which is under unprecedented strain across the UK. As they come towards the end of their five year contract, those managing PCNs are thinking to the future and learning from the past. This talk is aimed at injecting some positivity into the narrative, in order to harness the power of collaboration in local health and care communities. I will do that by describing what I see as the three main areas of collaboration, each of which I will illustrate with an example of how outcomes for patients and practices can be improved.
