Recognising competency and associated risk in clinical practice are key principles of healthcare and the corresponding regulator codes of conduct. Without recognition, both patient and practitioner safety can be at risk. The session provides insight into how to practice safely through the analysis and quality improvements that claims against the NHS may generate. The session will touch on actions and tips to help a registrant continue to practice safely.
