In this session you will learn to recognise the presenting features of spondylarthritis. 1. Learn to recognise inflammatory back pain and the differences between that and mechanical back pain. 2. Understand the various co-morbidities associated with axial spondyloarthritis. 3. Learn how to investigate possible cases of SpA and which radiological investigations are the most useful. 4. Understand the delay in diagnosis of SpA and learn how to reduce this.
