In this session, Dr Sharara will provide an update on management of seborrheic dermatitis in a primary care setting. This will include both prescription and over-the-counter treatment options, with a focus on how to prevent relapse. Will include case-reviews.

1. Understand the key principles of managing seborrheic dermatitis in primary care, including when to prescribe, when to recommend over-the counter products and when to refer.

2. Identify effective strategies for preventing relapse

3. Demonstrate the ability to select appropriate treatment approaches based on individual patient characteristics, considering factors such as severity, patient preferences and patient hair type, incorporating insights gained from case review presented during the session.
