CPPE is commissioned by NHS England to deliver training to pharmacy professionals working in primary care as part of the primary care Network Contract Directed Enhanced Service (DES). The DES supports a progression of the traditional roles of pharmacy professionals. CPPE has developed the Primary care pharmacy education pathway to align the education requirements of the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the NHS Long Term Plan and the primary care Network Contract Directed Enhanced Service to transform the pharmacy workforce.
This presentation will provide an overview of how the CPPE primary care pharmacy education pathway supports the development of the pharmacy professionals to undertake these new roles.
