Beyond Pharmacy First: what’s actually working in neighbourhood delivery
08 Oct 2026
Neighbourhood Delivery Theatre
Following the introduction of Pharmacy First and wider pharmacy-led services, many practices are now exploring how to better integrate community pharmacy into day-to-day primary care delivery.
In this session, you will hear from a panel of primary care, pharmacy and system leaders on what is actually working in practice. The discussion will focus on how services such as Pharmacy First, contraception and hypertension pathways are being delivered at a neighbourhood level, and what impact this is having on workload, access and patient experience.
Panellists will share real-world examples, including what has worked well, what challenges remain, and what needs to change to enable these models to scale effectively across systems.
