Registration Opens for Best Practice Show, The UK’s number one event for the general practice and primary care community
CloserStill Media, organisers of The Best Practice Show, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 13-14 October 2021, are delighted to announce that

The Best Practice Show provides powerful, CPD certified content, free of charge to clinicians and managers in general practice and primary care. The show will celebrate its 10th birthday this year and the team are proud to support the education and training of this country’s outstanding general practice community.

Healthcare professionals can secure their tickets online here.

Best Practice will once again host, Best Practice in Nursing, Repiratory Professional Care and The DDA Annual Conference.

New for this year, the show will host a new PCN Transformation Theatre where attendees can find out how PCNs and ICSs are interacting and evolving, with contributions and case studies from NHS England and NHS Improvement and Health Education England.

Key learnings from Covid-19 will also be shared with best practice case studies on virtual consultations and remote triaging and why they are here to stay.

Key topics being covered at this year’s Best Practice Show include:

  • Health inequalities – The pandemic has finally shone a light on inequality issues within healthcare which need tackling. Hear the plan from central agencies on what needs to be done and inspiring case studies from health leaders who are effecting change with their communities
  • Population health management – Get the lowdown on what this means in practice and how it can practically support your work with patients and the wider population. Experts from NHS England and NHS Improvement will demystify population health management with practical case studies to enhance your understanding
  • New roles in general practice – Find out how you can develop strong multi-disciplinary teams within primary care and properly integrate new ARRS roles into your practice. Health Education England’s Chief Executive Navina Evans will be delivering a keynote on the organisation’s strategy going forward
  • Primary Care following the pandemic – Hear from healthcare leaders discussing the impacts of the pandemic – both positive and negative – on primary care and what this means going forward, with particular focus on virtual consultations

The preliminary programme is available to view here.
