Leeds Diabetes – our journey towards becoming one service

10 Oct 2019
GP Clinical Theatre 1
Diabetes

Dr Mike Mansfield, a Consultant Diabetologist in Leeds, will share the 18 month journey colleagues in Leeds have been on with the co-production of their first 5 year diabetes strategy for the city. They will also share insight into the distance they have travelled to become one service, involving the integration of specialist teams and the implementation of a Single Point of Access.

Colleagues will hear from the people who have been at the forefront of this change and get first hand practical insight into the ‘how’ and ‘what’ has been delivered. Colleagues will also hear about lessons learnt both in relation to co-production of the strategy and the implementation of the Single Point of Access, to support anyone undertaking this area of work.
