The UK’s first basal insulin advisor with integrated blood glucose meter for type 2 patients on once daily basal insulin only, will be available from Autumn 2019.

Designed to assist in the self-adjustment of basal insulin dosing, the JAZZ DoseCoach could help tens of thousands of patients who struggle with the complexities of basal insulin management and maintaining healthy blood glucose levels.

This revolutionary device provides an individualised, suggested basal insulin dose through a feature called Dose Helper. Once a patient’s HCP has determined the starting dose, the Dose Helper suggests gradual adjustments (every three days) to the patient’s daily insulin dose until their fasting blood glucose readings are within their target range.

Dose Helper calculates dose adjustments using the patient’s most recent fasting blood glucose readings and insulin doses.

Clinically validated through the Automatix study, JAZZ DoseCoach is proven to reduce HbA1c.
