Launched earlier in 2019, the main objectives of this session are:

• To guide delegates through key aspects of the new NICE guidelines most pertinent to the role and responsibility of primary care professionals in the recognition and referral of suspected neurological conditions
• To explore simple steps that will help in implementing the guidelines in general practice
• To invite delegates to ask about any queries they may have regarding the new guidelines

  • To provide a summary of the guidelines that highlights:
  • •How to make a reasonable neurological assessment in a 7-10 mins consultation
  • •How to signpost patients to the appropriate service in a timely fashion
  • •Support services available to patients diagnosed with a neurological condition
