A Panel Discussion with leading Lifestyle Health and Medicine experts, with the aim of:

  • Sharing how a more person-centred approach that recognises the significance of people’s emotional health, changes to a person’s lifestyle behaviour are more sustainable.
  • Learning how a combination of the living experience and scientific research evidence is shaping treatment approaches in both preventing and reversing non-communicable diseases (conventionally referred to as long term of chronic conditions).
  • Presenting examples of lifestyle medicine approaches that are embedding across the community.
  • Engaging in discussion with the session delegates to hear of others experience of Lifestyle Medicine approaches across the UK 
  • Why NICE Guidelines for likes of Parkinson’s need updating to incorporate lifestyle assessments
  • To become more aware of how lifestyle changes through more person-centred care programmes that acknowledge the need to address emotional health.
  • To learn how existing scientific research provides the evidence that prevention plus reversal of non-communicable diseases (conventionally referred to as long term of chronic conditions) is on the increase.
