Key responsibilities.
Patient care.
- Provide direct care to patients, including
administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with
daily living activities.

- Assist in the planning and implementation of care
plans under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare
professionals.
- Conduct routine clinical tasks, such as wound
care, phlebotomy, and basic diagnostic procedures, adhering to best

- Educate patients and their families on health
management, including lifestyle changes and self-care techniques.

team, including GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals, to deliver
coordinated patient care.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
using electronic health record systems (e.g., EMIS or SystmOne).
- Ensure all activities comply with NHS policies, care
quality commission (CQC) standards, and general data protection regulation
(GDPR) requirements.

- Engage in continuous professional development to
enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Participate in training and educational

- Adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols to

Person specification.
Qualifications and experience.

Registration with an appropriate professional body (e.g., NMC or HCPC). nursing associate foundation degree or equivalent qualification.

Registration with the nursing and midwifery council (NMC) as a nursing
associate.
·
Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with direct patient care
responsibilities.

Proven ability to manage a variety of clinical tasks and support complex
patient needs.
Skills and competencies.

Competent in performing clinical tasks such as medication
administration, wound care, and basic diagnostic procedures.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build
