Dr Malasi is an experienced portfolio GP having been a doctor for over 2 decades. He trained in GP and Psychiatry, with further experience health economics, technology assessment & consulting in digital mental health technologies. Currently he works for Kent and Medway ICB, Global Policy Network, and is a reviewer and mentor for the NHS Innovation Accelerator, based at UCLH, specialising in mental health. His experience covers senior commissioning roles, including CCG Clinical Chair & hospital transformation director. He is a Senior Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership & Management, and holds a MSc degrees in health economics & policy from LSE, and Global Healthcare Leadership.
