Dr Hum has been a GP Partner for the last 17 years and works as a GP Trainer and Appraiser. She runs an NHS young person's contraception and sexual health clinic, The Circle Room. She is a former member of the RCGP Adolescent Health Group, which exists to help support GPs in developing health services for young people. She is a British Menopause Society (BMS) accredited menopause specialist, sits on the Medical Advisory Council of the BMS and works for the NHS England Clinical Reference Group on Menopause. She is the co-director of Myla Health, a private women's health clinic that also provides corporate training and education.
