Francis joined Optimum Patient Care in 2013 after reading Medicine with an intercalated degree in Pathology at University of Cambridge. He has strong interest in development and delivery of quality improvement initiatives and pragmatic trials, and a desire to apply his medical knowledge in this field. Over the years he has worked to support implementation of multiple real-world trials, quality improvement programmes and clinical audits. He heads OPC UK Operations in delivery of QI and research support services to practices across the UK. He is also Honorary Medical Scientist and Research Fellow at the Observational & Pragmatic Research Institute (OPRI).
