Somiah Siddiq is a Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB). After dual qualifications in Dentistry and Medicine at the University of Birmingham, she completed higher surgical training in the West Midlands and fellowships at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Freeman Hospital, Newcastle. Her expertise is in head and neck and thyroid malignancies, with a focus on minimally invasive surgery. She founded UHB's Head and Neck Robotic programme in 2019 and is Clinical Lead for the trust-wide Robotics programme. She is the chair of the Head and Neck expert advisory group for the West Midlands Cancer Alliance and serves on council for British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists and ENT UK Head and Neck Society.
