I am the lead for Digital at Brookside Group Practice, in Earley. We are a 30,000 patient practice with 4 sites and an autonomous PCN (Earley+). Common to most GPs in the UK we have struggled in the past with poor continuity, not enough doctor time available and patient frustrations with access and have worked hard both internally and with external providers to address these needs via process, staff training and IT solutions. The result is an increase in continuity from 35% to 66%, significantly happier staff and patients. Along with IT I have interests in low resource medicine and poverty having worked in India with a charity for 13 years.
