Alison has worked in cardiology for over 25 years. In her current role, she works with primary and secondary care teams in Sussex aspiring to improve medicines optimisation for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and supporting others to do so. As an independent prescriber, she manages a range of cardiac conditions. She has published on topics in clinical pharmacy and cardiology. She has a national profile which includes working with NICE, NHS SPS, AAC, UKCPA, BIHS, and recently joined the Council for PCCS.
