Amit is a healthcare leader who is the CEO of Berkshire West Primary Care Alliance, lead for the place based Berkshire West GP Leadership Group and GP Partner lead for Strategy at Brookside Group Practice. He is also the co- clinical director for his single practice, 4 site, 31,000 patient PCN in Berkshire. He has worked in various other roles including lead GP Tutor linked to Oxford University, medical director of a Federation, co-chaired a CCG with some ad hoc management consultancy. His main clinical interest is mental health and his PCN has set up an extensive health and wellbeing team to support patients holistically. He is also involved in leadership within his church as an elder and trustee, and enjoys sport, history and politics. He is married to Aradhana, a fellow partner within the practice and has an 11 year old son, Samuel who is cricket mad, meaning Amit watches many games from the sidelines!
