Dr Carol Howell is the Research Director at Enteromed Ltd a Clinical Research Organization and distributor of oral intestinal adsorbents in the UK. She has just completed a large UK clinical study for patients with diarrhoea predominant Irritable bowel syndrome (RELIEVE IBS-D) investigating the intestinal adsorbent Enterosgel. Carol previously worked for 15 years as a clinical researcher in the field of medical adsorbents at the University of Brighton. She completed her undergraduate degree at Nottingham University and her post graduate studies at the University of Brighton.
