Dr Clare Bannon is a busy GP partner and mum of three working in a deprived area of Barnsley. She was a CCG governing Body Member for 3 years then became the Medical Secretary of Barnsley LMC. Clare joined GPC in 2021 to represent South Yorkshire, in early 2022 she was elected as Policy lead for working at scale and later elected for the broader role of Policy lead for healthcare delivery. She has recently spent 9 months as a Deputy Chair for GPCE as maternity cover.
