David began his career as a graphic designer in the 1980s, before spending 14 years working in mental health, initially in residential settings and later in service development roles. David set up Andrassy Media in 1999, specifically to work with the non-profit sector. His aim – to develop visual communications in support of social change – led to long-term engagement with sectors including arts; social care; social housing; BME-led agencies; environment; and health. David has worked with LiveWellwithPain from its inception, bringing its ideas to life through innovative use of design to empower patients on their self-management journey.
