Eileen is the clinical lead for Proactive care at NHS England. She has worked as a consultant physician in Geriatric Medicine for 30 years in acute hospital and the community in Leeds. As NSA for older people she is committed to improving care in hospitals and the community. She has previously held the role of President of the British Geriatrics Society and is a current elected council member of RCP. She was awarded an MBE for her services to integrated care for older people.
