Elouise has been a GP in Nuneaton since 2005. Just before the Covid pandemic she became joint Clinical Director of a Primary Care Network that has grown to cover about 120,000 patients. She has become the GP representative for Warwickshire North Place Executive and represented her Place in the development of the Primary Care Strategy for the ICB. Elouise has learned and developed from previous challenges in a mental health commissioning role during PCT and early CCG days. She is learning to harness her energy and enthusiasm for eliciting change within healthcare whilst developing the ability retain the objectivity required to prevent challenges becoming personal. She is still working on trying to change the direction of large container ships whilst piloting a series of small boats. She is continually reminding herself of the importance of self-compassion whilst aspiring to show compassion in leadership.
