Dr Baldry is a Registered Dietitian with ten years of experience working in diverse ethnic communities, with all life stages and wide-ranging nutrition and dietetic needs. She is a specialist in weight and obesity management, self-management and behavioural change techniques. Emma is uniquely skilled in biomedical research, human translational and complex intervention research methods, focussed on metabolic, obesity-related chronic disease and multimorbidity. Emma’s key skills include dietetic management of people with chronic disease during human intervention studies. She designs, delivers and quality manages nutrition and dietary approaches/assessment methods within complex multifaceted interventions. Emma also consults on the design and integration of dietary management within lifestyle self-management programmes. Academically Emma also continues to teach in higher education, supervises postgraduate students, and provide healthcare professional training, staff supervision, training and mentoring.
