Dr Emma Davies is Principal Pharmacist for pain, analgesic stewardship and harm reduction in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. She provides clinical support and advice to colleagues from a range of professions in primary and managed care, especially in regard of complex case management and analgesic regimen. Emma has participated in the development of NICE guidance for safe prescribing and withdrawal of dependence forming medicines and was a lead author for All Wales Analgesic Stewardship and Pharmacological Management of Pain guidance. She is also co-founder of www.livewellwithpain.co.uk and oversees the development of medicines-related resources.
