Fiona Cook is a General Practice Nurse and Nurse Prescriber in a large multi-professional Practice in Devon. She specialises in Respiratory Care and supports patients living with a wide range of long-term conditions. Fiona is also a lecturer at the University of Plymouth and Programme leader for The Graduate and Postgraduate certificate in Fundamentals of General Practice Nursing. She has presented at the RCGP conference and the European forum for Primary care. She is passionate about interprofessional learning to enhance person-centred patient care and education to improve quality outcomes. Fiona contributed to the RCGP competences for General Practice Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers and the Queens Nursing Institute GPN SpQ. Fiona lives with her husband and two sons, on the edge of Dartmoor and enjoys wild swimming. Her dog is the only other members of the family who will join her in the water. Fiona is a member of the ARTP PCRS, QNI, RCN, RCGP and Higher Education Academy
