GP and Dermatology Tutor
Dr George Moncrieff was a GP principal in Bicester from 1985 until 2017. From 1999 he also ran an Interface Dermatology Service in the community receiving direct referrals from around 50 GPs in North Oxfordshire. Following retirement from his practice he worked in a private Oxford practice and did GP locums. In 2020 he helped to set up a Community Dermatology Clinic with a South Birmingham Federation and was their Clinical Lead until January 2021, where he remains a Consultant. He was the RCGP Dermatology Curriculum Guardian (2010 – 2014), Chair of The Dermatology Council for England (2014 – 2018) and a PCDS Committee Member (2005 – 2018). He remains a Primary Care Advisor to the National Eczema Society. Other past roles: GP trainer (19 years) Undergraduate tutor, Medicine, Oxford University and UCL (12 years) Senior examiner, Diploma in Child Health, RCP (10 years) Examiner, Cardiff Diploma, Practical Dermatology (1998-2005)
