As an Advanced Health Improvement Specialist working in the Long Term Conditions Team in the Adults & Health Directorate at Leeds City Council she has experience of leading, developing and implementing public health work programmes to improve health and reduce inequalities specifically targeting high risk groups. Current work programmes include the NHS Health Check programme, the implementation of the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme and providing specialist Public Health Advice to the Integrated Care Board across Leeds for CVD prevention.
