Dr Malasi is an experienced GP with a background in mental health, inequalities and health economics. Post-MRCGP, he studied Psychiatry for 3 years, becoming Section 12 Approved. He has held various commissioning roles, including Clinical Chair for NHS Thanet CCG. He hold a degree in health economics, policy and management from LSE, and splits his time between clinical work, ICB & GP tutor work. He holds honorary positions with NICE (Digital Technologies Committee) & the Gurhka Welfare Trust (Nepal).
