An accountant, consultant and social researcher by background, Jim has worked for over 35 years with organisations creating impact, and leads Sonnet Impact, a research, financial, design and strategic consultancy. He is an Hon. Professor at Sheffield Hallam University, and a Senior Visiting Fellow at City, University of London in the Centre for Charity Effectiveness. He has for over ten years taught social investment, social impact measurement and impact-based design on City’s Charities Masters programme. Sonnet is regulated as a firm of chartered accountants, partly owned by Sheffield Hallam, and operates as a social enterprise.
