Katharine Edmonds
GP and Founder,
GreenGP Wessex
Katharine Edmonds is a GP in North Hampshire. In 2019 she founded GreenGP Wessex, a network of doctors and nurses which aims to raise awareness of how primary care impacts climate change and how climate change impacts the health of the population. The group now works with several other regional teams to form a national network called Greener Practice. They provide information on how to make primary care 'greener' and work to influence policy at local and national levels. Katharine also has an interest in providing leadership training to new GPs and is a leader on the Next Generation GP Wessex programme.
