Lara Pringle
General Practice Nurse,
Lisson Grove Surgery
My journey into general practice wasn't conventional because I worked as a pharmacy dispenser within a practice for 7 years before taking the plunge and going to university at the age of 30 years old. Working alongside the Practice Nurses, I developed a healthy respect for their role and believed this was the job for me. Primary care and particularly General Practice Nursing is a passion for me. I have been very lucky to start my career with a lot of support and encouragement from my employer and mentor Debs. I have since completed the General Practice Fundamental course at university and this has given me a foundation to build my confidence and knowledge within such a wide ranging job role.
