Mairead Roche
Practice Management Consultant,
PMA
I originally trained and worked as a nurse (RGN) and have worked as a Practice Manager for over 27 years. I am a qualified trainer and worked for several years with Camden CCG as their Non-Clinical Staff Training Lead. I have worked with The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) and in Adult Education facilities supporting learners in achieving The City and Guilds Certificate in Medical Administration.
I have designed and delivered a full training programme to cover all CQC and Contractual Requirements pertaining to administrative roles and responsibilities.
Recently and in response to the GPFV initiative, I have designed and delivered training to help develop the role of the non-clinician in multi-skilled GP teams. I am currently training learners to achieve the Community Health and Well Being Workers Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification. My main interest is in developing administrative support roles to adapt and respond to the challenges left in the wake of the current health pandemic.
