Paul Kirby has worked at CQC for 9 years as a Registration Inspector, Quality Improvement Advisor, Chair of the Disability Equality Network and currently as Senior Performance Development Coach. Previously, he was a teacher/trainer for 25 years in Deaf Studies, Health and Social Care, Safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act. He has managed a community team for Deaf Services covering a variety of complex multi-disability needs and has worked as Dorset Police Link Officer for the Deaf and Deaf Blind. He has chaired the Independent Advisory Group for Dorset Police/Fire/NHS and in 2023 was awarded a BEM for services to Health and Social Care.
