Clinical Implementation Manager, NHSE National Wound Care Strategy Programme
Rachael is the Clinical Implementation Manager for the National Wound Care Strategy Programme for England. She qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2009 and started her career in community nursing, where she developed her passion for wound care. Due to this interest, she initially entered the specialist field of tissue viability as a Clinical Research Nurse. Rachael subsequently progressed to practising as a Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist and she has led tissue viability services across both acute and community settings. She also has a background in roles relating to leadership, quality and integration. As a Queen’s Nurse, Rachael is extremely passionate about community nursing, improving quality and empowering colleagues and patients in the prevention and management of wounds.
