I started my career in the finance industry gaining qualifications in Mortgage Advice and Practice. I progressed in the banking industry for five years becoming a bank manager before taking a 15-year career break to raise my young family. I joined the PCN in April 2021 after working in General Practice for the previous four years across several settings covering numerous roles from Administration to Finance. As PCN Manager for North Blaby my job is to support the 4 practices operationally, financially and strategically by leading, communicating and forward planning. Our aim as a PCN is to create, educate and support holistic healthy choices for patients, promoting self-care at all stages of life and health through knowledge and guidance, by working at scale in partnership with our neighbouring PCN and stakeholders through the Blaby Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT). Outside of work I enjoy spending my time in the gym and running.
