Head of Strategic Partnership, Novartis UK
Rosalind joined Novartis UK as the Head of Strategic Partnership in September 2019 to explore how Novartis’s relationships with the health and care sector can continue to evolve into long term, transformational partnerships. Before joined Novartis Rosalind was the Director of Transformation and Innovation at Cheshire and Mersey Health & Care Partnership, working with the senior leadership team to assist in driving clinical transfromation informed by best practice, opportunities for change and innovative thinking. Rosalind has an extensive background of working in and around the NHS. As an academic in Organisational Behaviour her subject area was management in the NHS and from this she moved into a senior role of Research & Development in Primary Care. Having gained early experience in facilitating primary care to work in partnership for research, this extended to building relationships across the NHS, Academia and Industry, following which Rosalind moved to Liverpool to build Liverpool Health Partners. As the Chief Operating Officer Rosalind spent seven years developing not just the internal partnership between the NHS and Universities, but also relationships with industry for clinical research, academic collaborations, and opportunities with international partners.
